The Big Three Performance Rights Agency

Are you familiar with the big three performance rights agencies ? Ascap, BMI, and Sesac are the big three performance rights groups that you have to become a part of inorder for you to get your songs published and licensed by the public. I have been a member of ASCAP for about fifteen years. Do You know what it takes to get in with the performance rights agency?

Inorder for you to get on with agency like ASCAP you have to have performed in a licensed ASCAP venue and have the club owner sign off on paper proving you did perform there along with the clubs i.d. for so that ASCAP can prove the validity of the club. As for as BMI goes Im not sure what their requirements are but they I think are not as hard as ASCAP is in becoming a member.
