Learning how to write takes some real practice, and thought if your not already doing it. Many people who write songs just write off the cuff, and never really use the elements of writing to make the song a master piece. Brainstorming is needed to write a song with no boundaries. After that is the rough draft phase where you start to organize the writing process, so you can see your ideas on paper. Finally, is final draft which brings everything together and allows you to make the picture thats needed to sing your song. When writing take these things into account and you should always get it right.
